Still the Land of the Giants
Our private lands and farms are still producing mature whitetail deer 140 – 180 BC. We have thousands of acres of hardwoods and crop lands with wheat, beans and corn. Baiting is legal in Kansas. We will put corn out for you just before your arrival and it will be up to you to continue baiting if you feel it's necessary. Corn by the bag is available locally.
Licensing has become easier over the years. As long as you fill out your application correctly, you will receive a deer permit. In addition to a deer permit, a general hunting license is also required which is OTC. Our base unit is #11.
DEADLINE FOR LICENSE APPLICATIONS IS April 27.
(There are usually licenses left over in unit #11)
LODGING: We have our own motel where you can relax in our lounge with friends and a cool refreshing drink. You will enjoy our one of a kind wildlife display and cozy warm fireplace.

EARLY MUZZLELOADER SEASON
Inlines with scopes are legal equipment. This is the first opportunity at relaxed deer. We will have some stands in place but suggest you bring along a stand so you can relocate if conditions dictate. We will put corn out just before your arrival and it will be up to you to continue baiting. Corn by the bag is available locally.
Dates: Septempter 17 – 30, 2012
Hunt Price: $2,500.00 per person
(includes 6 nights lodging and 5 days of hunting)
A 50% deposit per person is required to book a hunt.
ARCHERY SEASON
Bucks scoring from 140 to 180 have been taken yearly with many scoring P+Y. There is very little hunting pressure so natural movement is common. More big bucks get killed during the bow season than most other times in Kansas because of the rut, crop access and corn piles. We will put corn out just before your arrival and it will be up to you to continue baiting.
Dates: Septempter 17 – December 29, 2012
Hunt Price: $3,000.00 per person
(includes 5 days of hunting with 6 nights of lodging)
A 50% deposit per person is required to book a hunt.
EARLY RIFLE SEASON
This is the first opportunity with a rifle to take the big ones with no post rut implications. This hunt is all natural movement which can be enhanced by baiting. We will put corn out just before your arrival and it will be up to you to continue baiting. We will have stands in place, but suggest that you bring along a stand to relocate if necessary.
Dates: Approximately October 6 – 14, 2012
Hunt Price: $3,000.00 per person
(includes 5 days of hunting with 6 nights of lodging)
A 50% deposit per person is required to book a hunt.
REGULAR RIFLE SEASON
Always the Wednesday after Thanksgiving, November 28th to December 8th, 2012. We will have stands in place and you can bring one of your own to relocate if necessary. We will put corn out just before your arrival and you can continue to bait if you like.
